Last weekend we drove to Salt Lake for my family's reunion. It was a lot of fun.
We went to the Hill Airforce Base Museum and saw all the planes. You could call it the "Boy" part of the reunion. But the girls found a way to have fun.
You can always dance.
Unfortunately, we found it was colder and we only planned for it to be warm, oops! Luckily, the kids were able to stay warm.
Here we (the photographer cut Spencer out) at the museum.
Here are the babies from last year all a year or almost
Then we went swimming, no photos because it was indoor and VERY humid. On Saturday we started at the Salt Lake Cemetery where we did a scavenger hunt for graves. My sister Stephanie was in charge and gave us a list of names and a map and we had to find the death dates. In case you ever plan to do this, keep in mind, the cemetery is on a STEEP hill.
but is a great view
Also, a slight hint, Elder McKonkie's grave stone is flat and small. It took us about 15/20 minutes to locate it.
Here are the kids by our relative Erastus Peterson
This was a grave stone of a Francis Mack Matheson. While my Mom didn't know how we were related, we figure he was blessed by our Great-Great Grandfather Francis Webster who named all the boys he was asked to bless "Francis" after himself even if the parents had chosen a different name.
Afterwards, we went to Brigham Young's grave.
Love the view from the parking spot.
In 2007 we got shirts for all the grandkids for my Dad's family reunion and numbered them in birth order. At the time there were 9 grandkids.
2007
the two youngest were asleep so they aren't pictured
This year we did it again.
2010

THANKS STEPHANIE FOR A FUN WEEKEND!
