Wankier Reunion pt 2

Every summer my family has a reunion and we each take turns planning it. This year, however, has proved a little more difficult to plan such reunions since there are so many babies. So, we decided to do it in 4 parts each taking place the Saturday before our babies are blessed and we each get to be in charge of our corresponding Saturday. My sister, Melissa, had hers a couple of weeks back and we didn't take photos other than the baby so there wasn't much to show. Plus, the men were all occupied with work and commencement and other responsibilities and one sister was busy recovering from having her baby a week before that we ended up just letting the kids play while the women visited. A rather nice way to spend the day.

So this weekend my sister, Jennifer, blessed her baby and we went up to Blackfoot for the festivities.

Saturday morning the boys went shooting. This was Andrew's first time to go and he was pretty excited. He even got to shoot Uncle Nate's pistol.
Well protected ears out in the beautiful Idaho landscape.

Looking for Rock Chucks.

The weekend really kicked off with a trip to the lake where those that were able (not me) went water skiing and the kids played in the lake. It was a very relaxing day. Here are a few highlights and photos.
Karissa showing off her vaulting moves on the canopy bag.

Alexis is well prepared to be safe in the water.

Loungin' in the boat.

Having a water fight.

Playing in the mud.

Sunday we blessed the beautiful baby.

Karissa enjoying the pink salad, her favorite.

My sister's baby, Brandon took the photo, isn't he a cutie. My sister made the outfit, so cute!

An absolutely wonderful weekend!

Karissa is looking so healthy. I love the rosy cheeks! I guess you are counting the days, right?

The count is correct and Karissa is doing great! Although I must admit the very rosy cheeks are partially due to sunburn. :(
